It all started in Coombsville.

We approached the owners of a small vineyard on Coombsville Road about making wine from their grapes.
They said yes, and we found ourselves farming it and making our first LOCALISM Cabernet Sauvignon.

Coombsville sits in the cooler southeastern corner of Napa Valley, where morning fog and cooler temperatures give the grapes more time to ripen. The result is the kind of Cabernet we love: layered and generous, with a freshness that keeps you coming back to the glass.

The 2023 vintage has everything we’ve come to love about this vineyard. It's a place that will always be at the heart of our story.
